This is a comissioned series i did last year, it permeated from an art project i started in 2005 which got published in Cream magazine. The whole premise was to create something new and surreal out of imaging tiling of commonly photographed landmarks.

I got comisisoned by an investor group developing that new shopping complex revamp under at Sydney Tower to create a photographic series that showed sydney in a new light as a fashionable sophisticated city to attract international investors to the development project

it just got released so thought the relevance to post

the first 2 are the ones i did years ago

Wendell,

These have symmetry, light, composition, intrigue and so much more. Nice processing.

What can I say.

I find myself just staring at the first and last one mesmerised, not that there is anything wrong with the other two.

An awesome series Wendell, Chris says it best, visionary. These Sydney icons are certainly well known and often photographed but the presentation you have shown us is inspiring.

thanks,

André

I was completely blown away by the first, so recognisable yet so foreign.

This is a great series.

Sounds like your client is a little prone to understatements Wendell  I think the appropriate feedback should have been 'Simply sublime' followed by 'You are not charging me enough!' :)
cheers
