Darren - u've nailed this one! Classic pose, a little hint of a smile and some eye contact...the lighting is beautiful, care to share your setup? Well done!

Darren as Geoff has mentioned. Beautifully done. Given the high standards you set yourself I would add that perhaps her eyes could have been dirested more at the camera rather than slightly upwards towards the light. A very small but could be significant refinement of a terrific portrait.
cheers

Thanks, I appreciate the comments
Re the eyes, I do have a very similar one, but somehow felt that her not looking at the camera gave a sense of detachment that I liked also.
Both nice though

The lighting to create the 'isolation' is sublime. Great work.

What a regal pose! Excellent portrait with vivid red colours and an engaging half-smile of your subject.
