white backdrop, household objects

picked up a tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 two days ago, and so far i have only used it for this. i wanted to set up a strobist shoot and have a muck around at home.

i used a white table cloth, photos have little done to them mainly just cleaning up the white background.

here is a photo of an old pair of shoes, when i get a new pair ill give this a go again.

here is my gf's new camera canon g11, awesome camera for a compact.

and using the g11, my 450d :D

the lighting is the same in all of them, strobe with a white brolly from above front right on 1/2 power, strobe bare fired from object height front left.

Someone will be cranky that you have used their white tablecloth! :)

Nice try, the rumpled tablecloth is a bit of a distraction - might be a good idea to straighten it out first
