I have a soft spot for these little buggers. lol

i got bored pretty quickly with straight up shots so i started doing anything to try and make the shots more interesting. the 300/2.8 + CPL handled and performed like a dream. AF was superb. these are all wide open. the contrast, colour and sharpness are a thing of beauty. truly...

thanks for looking. :)

I was going to post a few of my shots, but after seeing your shots in this and your other thread I don't think I'll bother
that 300 really helps you hide the fences
I like the arty angles on these (one of the few events that still look good when you play the angles)

OK Just one

entering turn 11 about the only place you can get close enough to the fence and still have a reasonable gap to the cars for a 70-200 2.8 to get ride of the fences

the 300/2.8 + CPL

*drool*

Done very well with this images, the first two are standout ones, as mentioned before the wheel blur would be nice, but since you had a shutter of 1/800 that ain't gonna happen...

The last two you have the angle the wrong way imo. The first image from te otehr post works a million times better...probably some technical reason for this, but's it's late :)

yeah the wheel blur woulda been very nice but it was so damn bright first of all and secondly stoppin down to say 5.6/8 to get my shutter speed down and i got all fence. :(

just looking outside this morning looks like much better conditions. cloudy and not so bright so hopefully the lads have more luck.

here's the fence btw. serious hunk of metal !
