We had a early evening storm roll in yesterday, amazing show of colour and light which changed so rapidly over such a short period of time as the sun was setting.

Here are a few of the captures...........I was only fortunate enough to capture a lightning strike in just one frame!

Brilliant #1 and #3. Love the urgency that the birds show to get out of there!

Too b ad you only got that bit of lightning.

#3 is a cracker for me. Love the light rays, love the contrast the B&W treatment gives while still keeping detail in both the hills and cloud.

I really like #2 as well. The lightning bolt offsets the lighter area on the left and balances things out and again there is enough detail in the ground to keep it interesting.

Thanks for the feedback..........I prefer #3 myself, having a bit of a B&W thing going on at the moment. I like the layering of the mountains and of course the 'fingers of god' breaking though the clouds. I will be printing this one and hanging it in my hallway.

I think the last one is the winner of the set. Well done!
