I like this series. #1 is a lovely shot except the motion blur in the closest boat.

#2 reminds me of Assassins Creed which I am playing at the moment.

I tend to agree about #1. In hindsight I could have done some experimenting with flash to try and freeze the boat, but at the time I was tired and didn't think of it.

Thanks for the comments!

My fav is the second. Nice exposure and angle on the Duomo. I wonder whether you could change the orange glow on the sky to a more pleasing blue? This might make the Duomo stand out even more.

You could have increased the shutter but then the ambient would be under exposed. Flash wouldn't have helped this shot when the ambient is carrying most the image.

I quite like the second myself, might have a play with the WB and see how it goes. Proabbly need to weak just the sky - here's to Lightroom!

Could have tried a few things with flash I think, droping the ambient and letting the flashed boat take more of the focus, having the blur around a clear boat, or even blending an image like this one with a flashed one and getting a bit of both. That's the joy of experimentation, the options are endless!

Been meaning to post this and keep forgetting. I had a tinker and got what I think is a much more pleasing image, thanks for the suggestion!
