They just use lots of pad locks. I found the new padlocks juxtaposed against the old hinges and old contents that it protected.

C&C much appreciated.

EDIT - Fixed duplication

are you playing tricks on me suren? that first and last image are the same? Nonetheless, the first image is very nicely composed and would fit right into that wall of images in that toilet block that we saw  I would only suggest having all of the handle in the shot...

And they were both taken at exactly the same time, according to the Exif, at just after 7am. :?: At least they don't have the date on them.

I agree with Gerry's comments about not cutting off the handle.

well my previous comment now applies to the third image  I was wondering what happended to some of some strobist shots suren! nice work on the first one, a bit sharper on the edge of the lock would be good.

here's my crack, i reckon with your leet skills you could bring some more back..

I think you need to add a slice on the left or right to maintain that 6*4 ratio

I'll let you in a secret Gerry. These are all strobist shots. These padlocks were in the shade and the light was too flat. In fact, these have no ambient contributing.

Nicely done!! Thanks for this idea. I might work on it when I get a little more time.... Looks time consuming but possible.

Thanks dude. It's interesting that they had the only good images of the place inside a toilet block!!

Obviously, something has changed since the comments above were posted and my seeing the pitures. Anyway, I prefer the second and third pictures.

:rotfl2: I loved the date stamp. I think some people used to use a special back for this during film days?

Thanks Wendell. I think the printer exaggerated the blues which helped the image. An honor to receive your vote!

The first one with the curving lines and associated lighting highlights works best for me!
