Great concept Leigh.

I would like to see these slightly sharpened. Not too much but just to remove the mild fuzzies.

I concur with that! Great sky and building contrasting with the trees.

Really? I get the same colour with my R72(or whatever those infrared filters are called) equivalent filter. I can't see Leigh's exifs here but
I usually have to expose for several seconds when lens is stopped down.

You do get the reds and orange mixes with the R72 but the colour is dependent on the brightness of the sky at the time and the later white balance changes.

I don't have to expose for so long here as the D70 is one of the better IR-capable cameras, thanks to the weak IR-pass filter of the time. :)

I like the first and the third images  the first has that apocalypic feel to it with the 3 figures strinding towards the viewer, the third i particularly like due to the contrast difference between the tree and the remaining scene, my only preference would be the complete inclusion of the powerline tower.

wow...really well named post...it truly does look like the end of the world!

I do like the first with the tripod even looks like some mean piece of weaponry!
