I think the owl best suits the thread title of "eye contact", but all shots are good. I really like the red panda.

I'm going to be different and say that the first is my pick.. although they are all excellent shots the first wins for me on its cuteness appeal..

Good work here Deb. Especially as they are captive animals, I would choose the owl too as the standout from this collection, maybe selective darkeining of the b/g would help focus the attention to the bird more.

on a side note, they did some billboards up here in syd with something to the following effect - ' its a nice bridge, but we got pandas'
I quite like all the images but could not name any of them off the top of my head the first one is a winner in my mind for the posture and facial expresion, very cute...
