Red tulipFrom the HK Flower show that's currently on. It's a photographer's paradise. Lots of people with very serious gear. Cameras of all kinds with long and macro lenses mounted on countless tripods and monopods like it was a D70users meet. Lots more pics to come, but this one's a gem. The red channel reaches saturation well before the green and blue. I've dialed back -1EV and fixed the underexposure with shadows/highlights in PS. The red still looks blown.
This shot is bloomin' amazing! It doesn't look real. What colour! Can't wait to see more.

Onyx, that's a colour overload. Amazing. I reckon it would make one mother of a jigsaw puzzle.

A really lovely pic - I have noticed that the D70 handles red flowers badly but these look great - keep em coming

love your photos onyx! Red tulips look so jump-out-at-your-face on a green background! Love the richness of colour you've gotten out the of the D70! I think a meet at canberra's floriade is in order next year! if you havent guessed already, I am a huge flower photo fan!
