ok - motorbike frog, Litoria moorei, and it really does sound like a motorbike changing gear ...

Edit - thought I should point out the fact that there has been no desaturation of the background, the frog was sitting on dead leaf litter around a dam in the National Park - and the colour of the frog is ridiculous !

Thanks Blacknstormy...the guy who lives next to my parents breeds these frogs as a hobby...this photo brought back memories of my family chasing these frogs through the garden at night so that my mum could get a decent night's sleep!
