Lovely colours and great detail around the eye, but I think I would prefer a little more of the bird in focus

I'm actually going to disagree with Mr Darcy here - I like the fact that the rest of the bird isn't in focus- it draws your attention to the centre and the birds' eye .. for me it works Love the colours and the detail Rel

I also really like it.. and don't mind that only the eye area is in focus.. the colours are lovely and the eye is sharp, I would be happy with it..

it probably breaks lots of "rules" about how a photograph should be taken. Thirds etc.... But it does drag attention to the the eye. It works and that is the main objective.
