Moffat Headland Cloudy Sunrise

I joined the Caloundra Camera Club mid last year hoping it would help me learn more about photography and improve my skills.
They put me in the B Grade category and I ended up winning the photo of the year across all grades as well as scooping all the "B" grade awards.
I'm a bit embarrassed about it because I had imagined there would be a lot more talented photographers in these clubs and I don't see myself in that league.
Anyway they have recently asked me to run a session and an outing for the club featuring seascapes.
I pretty much haven't picked up the camera since last September due to selling the business and moving residence.
This morning was my big chance to get out and trial a location for the shoot and I had asked one of the members to join me even though the weather has been absolute crap.
So we ventured out this morning in spite of the cloud cover and overnight heavy rain with only optimism on our side.
The only break in the cloud cover occurred just on sunrise to let just a glimmer of piercing light through.
The rocks were treacherously slippery and we found the location will not be suitable for our purposes.
There was very little color at Sunrise given the poor conditions but I managed to salvage this.
