At least I tried :)A few of my efforts at the model shoot in Brisbane - was an absolute blast, but boy insects and frogs are soooo much easier to shoot - way out of my comfort zone here !!!!
Oh well, here goes Lani actually smiled a lot And what a gorgeous smile she has !! A pp'd high key effort - was going for camera grain, but not sure if it worked She really is a beautiful girl !! Re: At least I tried :)Ooooh, I like what you've done with the second one Rel. The subtle water ripples in the background are great!
I'll try to be a bit nicer, if you try to be a bit smarter.

The technical award goes to number 2! Third price goes to 3 for direction and acting tecniques!
Re: At least I tried :)
I agree for number 1, I think this is a great shot, the pose, setting and background really work, alittle more light on her face would make it really sing.
I reckon ya smashed 'em (thats a good thing btw), top work, imagine how awesome ya gonna be with a bit of practice! gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: At least I tried :)Wow - thank you all so much - didn't expect such positive feedback to be honest
Wendell - thank you for even commenting on my shots - means a lot !!! This is the first shot with a curves adjustment: I'm so chuffed - Biggerry - think I'll still stick with insects & frogs LOL Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams
