mobile phone, is controversial, and the history

Mary MacKillop will be made a catholic saint. She
will be the first Australian saint, but it appears
that Mary MacKillop was a rebel and got herself
excommunicated for a brief period of time when
she was at Saint Mary’s in South Brisbane.
Recently, Saint Mary’s congregation and their priest,
Father Kennedy, got also into trouble with the
incumbent bishop of Brisbane . They were evicted
from their place of worship and moved to the Labor
Council (TLC) building down the road. About the time
they were forced to leave their church, I passed by
and I captured this picture, but as soon as I had taken
it and moved a few steps away, someone came out of
the church and took down the offending sign.
