Some great captures here. I love the emotions in the first 4, they really show the determination that these young players have. Can I say that the bowler in #5 has his arm at an almost impossible angle...I wince at it

Great stuff!

I like the last one the best because of the water coming off the ball. It just adds a little something extra.

That aside. These are great

#7 (Your numbering scheme) It is a shame the feet were chopped
#3 Maybe trim just a little off the bottom to get rid of some of the object near the stumps. Not too much mind. You want to keep the grass to anchor the bowler.

Thanks, the numbering's crazy as I usually post 8 pics to the other places I post

These are with the 400 2.8 and 1.7 TC Rooz

Yeah, shame about the feet, but, it was full frame and maybe i should have cropped tighter

very impressive quality considering its with a 1.7TC. wow.
with the 300/2.8 i get some "crazy bokeh" when i mount the TC, no evidence of that in these shots thats for sure.

thank rooz, believe it or not i almost sold the 1.7, i just could not get it sharp, and the bokeh was as you describe

when wide open it sux really, at f/5.6 seems its sweet spot - dont oversharpen though
