And why didn't you guys ask me along
and where was my invite?
BTW why wasnt i told about this trip up to Newcastle??
*slaps hand*
lol, everyone comes outta the woodwork now eh
I was passing thru one the way home, I only had a very small amount of time, convienently around sunset
- however I will be dropping past again over the Easter long weekend so if anyone is keen to do something at the start or tail end of that weekend you could count me in!
the little dark spot in the water on the right.
yeah will do, it does draw the eye away..
weird colour wise (especially in the gradients) which I suspect are jpeg artifacts.
interesting Peter, I will have a look at the nef's later and see if tehre is any difference, I think I had a polariser on as well...
And as for the kids, they give the composition in the forground of the jetty!
hmm, after spending the
w/e with 22 screaming kids, i am thinking I like my foregrounds kid free
Did you hang around for about half an hour after the shots shown?
had about 30 minutes total I guess, basically walked up to meet suren, then 2 min later the sun was gone...
If you have a torch with a good strong beam, light paint the edge of thw wharf (from where you are standing) this highlights the wharf and the refelection. Not to much, just to highlight the sides. Possibly also try lower, closer to the ground level.
good point - should have thought about that..even better brought my torch..
Probably just a bit too close to the subjects. I would move back a couple more meters or more, Add all the extra view to the bottom with the wharf and water. Take one as you have it, and take another with a very low amount of Flash (either -3 and and/or off camera bounce around)
being smaller in the frame
hmm another good one, I do have another image further back, but did not even think of using the flash...will keep that one in the back of my head
looks like a gorgeous spot,
yeah not too shabby for Newcastle
thanks for teh comments and suggestions all.
