Next train to...I took this picture two weeks ago with my compact camera.
I was in the opposite platform waiting for my train. I must say my half-an-hour of waiting went quite very quickly... This picture works also quite well in B&W, but I think the colour gives and extra depth. What do you think?
Re: Next train to...I prefer the colour, but the B&W looks good as well.

Re: Next train to...hi,
Nice little shot of the compact!! i must say thats what i like about sydney is that you can be waiting for a train and looking at a view like that, and what an incredible view it is! My opinion -which may not hold much value- is that i like the colour version, it seems to hold my attention longer, i kept going back to it, not sure if its giving it more depth or not, i just think its warmer and makes me want to be there more so then the black and white. kristen 2 x Fuji xt1,vg-xt1 grip, Fujinon xf 18-55mm 2.8-4, Fujinon xf 14mm, Fujinon 56mm 1.2.
Re: Next train to...I prefer the colour as well. The shaded area of the image at the bottom is practically monochromatic anyway, and with the lack of features in the sky and solid grey of the bridge, the top has a mono feel as well even though it isn't. The band of more defined colour works nicely and keeps the eye scanning back and forth in the pic.
While I think the contrasty black and white is nice, it lacks something to hold me in.
Re: Next train to...Many thanks for the coments. I like the
colour more myself.
