A recent aquisitionWell I recently upgraded my beloved VTR250 motorbike to this beast. A 2007 (with only a mere 4000km's on it when I bought it) Kawasaki ER6N (650cc...vrrrooom!). Since I bought it (December 29, 2009) I've racked up over 6,500kms on her..a little soul searching and my main form of transport of late. She's a beauty!!
These shots were taken not long before sunrise at North Head, Sydney. Critique welcomed: A little too much fill in this one, I realise: Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
Re: A recent aquisitionI disagree Geoff. #3 is by far the best shot and the fill has brought the green to life

Re: A recent aquisitionAh, the quest for more power has started, very nice choice. I like #3 as well because the darker exposure has not only brought out the colour in the bike but the detail in the sky. Well done.

Lifes journey is not to arrive at our grave in a well preserved body but, rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "Wow what a ride." D70s, D300, 70-300ED, 18-70 Kit Lens, Nikkor 105 Micro. Manfrotto 190Prob Ball head. SB800 x 2.
Re: A recent aquisitionanother vote for #3. i'm liking the contrast here. i'd actually have considered dropping another stop or 2 in the sky to bring out even more sky colour.
