I love the people of Thailand, especially the kids. It's an easy place to take photos. Parents love to have their kids photographed. I almost always give the kids some money. It makes their day I'm sure. Here's a few from earlier this week:

Oz,

What glass were the first and fourth of these shot with? They both have a beautiful soft feel, but at the same time retain an edge that belies this softness.

And the colour and saturation in the first is just great. You've not just nailed this. It's been securely bolted down!

I don't know about the fat lady, but the 5DII is surely singing!

Thanks Gary. All shot with EF 85mm F1.8 (the only lens I took on this trip) then processed with a (freebie) PS action which sort of blurs things then sharpens with channels etc.

I reckon it's worth more than double what you paid for it.

Er ....

It's certainly working for you, anyway.

Actually Gary, there's heaps of good free actions for PS out there. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll email some links.

I thought I replied to this thread ages ago...maybe it was another that looks similar.

They are brillant, I love #1 and #3 the most. They really portray the innocence of the children. Glad to see that you are asking for permission.
