I was just digging through my Antarctica files for some more images to put into this year's ANZANG (entries close 28th March) and also found a few I thought I might post here.

Image
Bergy Bit, Laubeuf Fjord, Antarctica
EOS 5DmkII, 24-105mm @ 32mm, ISO 100

Image
Bergy Bit, Gerlache Strait, Antarctica
EOS 5DmkII, 24-105mm @ 65mm, ISO 200

Image
Ice Cathedral, Andvord Bay, Antarctica
EOS 5DmkII, 24-105mm @ 28mm, ISO 800

Image
Eroding ice, Danco Island, Antarctica
EOS 5DmkII, 24-105mm @ 24mm, ISO 200

And because there're no animals in those (other than the bird in the 1st) here's what krill looks like for lunch:

Gentoo Penguin serving lunch, Petermann Island, Antarctica

Looking at these images really makes me want to go there. Hang on a minute I am in November :D

I think there's a second image in #1 with a pano crop just above the big ice chunk to completely remove it from the bottom.

Of these the fourth image really stands out for me. I like the vertical channels in the ice with the contrasting piece lower right. The pano crop really enahnces the strength of the shot as well. Not sure about the penguin vomit in #5

The fourth is just great, very nice.
I think I would prefer a tighter crop just above your sig, but as mentioned the vertical striations and pano/ horizontal balance work really well.
