I went camping in the weekend at Wongi with a few other togs and hangers on

A great set there, I love the creamy bokeh you have in the wildlife shots....what focal lenght?

Looks like you have had a great time camping

#4 looks like a very nice tranquil scene which you have conveyed here nicely.
#3 needs the contrast bumped quite a bit imo.
#2 gotta love that separation of the bird and the BG, nicely done.

Stunning shots Darren, beautiful b/g colours in all the wildlife shots, how close did the Lace Monitor let you get??
I don't know what the little birds are but I know they are fast movers and do not sit still for long, you did well getting such sharp clear photos.
Where is Wongi ? What lens were you using??

Thanks, Wongi is 10minutes north west of Maryborough

The bird shots were using a 400 2.8 amd 1.7TC

The Goanna, well, it's full frame. I got very close when in the tree, I could get with 3 metres before it would climb or run off
