haha, once again, get your mind outta the gutta.

Dehavilland DHC-2 'Beaver', this particular one is an 'N' registered one (US register) and has been crated to Aus for the owner to do a few month trip around the great southern land, lucky for some eh?

for those plane nuts out there if you see this big bad beaver coming into a airfield near you I suggest taking a few minutes to have a look. There are some fine beaver's out there but this one is something special.

This beaver needs red leather seats. The color of the seats make me cringe and cry. But I am available at short notice if you want me to test the comfort while taking a ride.

you could spot a single drop of oil anywhere forward of teh firewall within a half a minute - thats how pristine this PW is!

This beaver needs red leather seats. The color of the seats make me cringe and cry.

:agree:

my 10 yro ford falcon has a interior scheme that is alsmost as bad as this...grey is the worst colour, it looks crap when dirty too btw.

But I am available at short notice if you want me to test the comfort while taking a ride.

line starts after me :rotfl2:

with daylight savings done, this may become a reality..

whoa...LOVING #2. more detail shots like that please.

I was going for a particular shot here but did not quite achieve the best end result imo.

that is one fancy beaver!

I had a flight in one last October in northern BC in Canada, they are a great plane to fly in, nothing as fancy as this one but it was very functional and sure is great to have a water takeoff/landing.

thanks for sharing,

André

Beautiful shots, beautiful subject.. dubious title!

I love the detailed engine images, they really do this awesome machine justice. We've nothing so beautiful at our local hangar but I have taken some shots inside the engine bay of the RFDS Pilatus 10 during it's servicing.. up close and personal, aircraft are so interesting.
