#1 almost looks like a seaside scene - algae and sea urchins. It looks very wet, which sets the mood but in some ways takes the detail away.

#2 I missed these guys altogether. They probably need more depth of field if possible.

#3&4 are both great with loads of detail. A soft box may have helped remove some of the harshness in the shadows.

Thankyou Andrew,
I have had a hard time getting low enough for some of the fungi with my soft box. The small soft diffuser I have been using lately works well for most shots but I still end up with some harsh shadows depening upon chosen appature.

I am sorry you missed these smaller sun dews as they were all over while we were walking together. :(
I should have taken more images of these but was interested in the bract stucture that was odd.

The mosses were near where you got your first leaches.

I love the colour and sharpness of the last image, you have done very well here to get it all in focus (or at least to look in focus). Top stuff colin!

They probably need more depth of field if possible.

:agree:

I missed these guys altogether

probably not hard since they are damn tiny...

Colin

These shots epitomise why I enjoy seeing your work. We both travlled the same path that day and you've captured images I just plain didn't see. THe last two images (the first of that pair in particular) are just exceptional.

Thanks all,
Gerry , I think I need to try focus stacking.
