Thanks Colin. I know I am definitely above average. Just like 99% of the population.

Thanks BigV, he is pretty happy with these. It's interesting, while I am interested in the composition, color, lights, shadows etc, he is most interested in the 'correct' pose, difficulty of the trick etc. It's taught me a good lesson in listening and tuning in to the mindset of the person you are photographing.
biggerry wrote:you are definitely a strobist at heart eh..one flash to the left?
Definitely. Although I have stopped lugging my flash to photograph sunsets etc....
This is just the same softbox as yours. Single diffused and at a distance so slightly harsher. Although it would have been nice to have another light or two for accents, I don't have any other flashes or triggers.
biggerry wrote:those two lights work well, I would however consider just cropping teh image to make them symmetrical about those lights, but that could just be me be pendantic
Thanks for this. I am terrible with symmetry, levelling and cropping. I waste alot of pixels because of horizon issues. I will have another go.

I waited until dusk so that my little flash would be powerful enough to be par with the sky... One of the problems of the ebay triggers is that they pull down your sync speed. [although not by much but still]
