Darren - fabulous photos. I left home at 3am to go to the dawn service. Was another great turn out this year - so good to see so many youngsters (and I really mean YOUNG) :)
The shot of the young cadet holding the cap of a fallen soldier is brilliant - the innocence of the young man is just beautiful, and the emotion and significance attached to that presence of that one cap is perfectly captured.
The last shot of the grandfather (?) holding the young girl with the flag and the ribbons just captures the wonderful way that families are involved in ANZAC, and the bridging of the gap between the returned soldier and a young mind who hopefully one day never even has to know the meaning of war.
Edit - just realised the little girl in the first photo and the last is the same !! Also, had a closer look at the last shot - wished you got a close up of the distinguished gentleman in the left of the frame - think he would definitely have a story to tell !
Congratulations on a collection of photos that embrace the meaning of ANZAC day !
Hugs
Rel

Whilst not a huge fan of the processing, the third image standout irrespective of the PP, its a great composition of such a simple subject.

i also like the pipes and drums shot, the little girl peeking over the banner is a very nice touch. I would consider cropping the image to get the banner in the centre and getting symmetry about her.

#3 is great but as an Image #9 is a standout for me.

Do you have lightroom? If so it's based on a preset called vintage which I've meddled with a bit, it basically desaturates certain colour channels
