Clovelly - Four seasonsClovelly is a great little spot for a sunrise, easy to get to, great waves and at times a great sunrise. It was a great to hook up with Suren and Cameron.
A few quickly edited images from the morning, suggestions for improvement, different perspectives or PP options welcome. yep, it was dark at 5am in the morning...pretty cold too.. but then teh sun came out a bit to play.. then some serious fog rolled on in...no more sunrise but Maroubra pool was where it was at and back to sunshine...almost.. Re: Clovelly - Four seasonsI love the second one.... gorgeous
Re: Clovelly - Four seasons
Yep! #2 is the pick of the bunch with great composition, light and interest in the fore and middle grounds. #3 looks like it's out of middle earth or something..! #4 has too much 'non interesting' space for it to be strong on it's own. Was it done with the 10 stopper?
Re: Clovelly - Four seasonsAnother vote for #2 Gerry.
Gotta love mother nature. Regards Colin

Re: Clovelly - Four seasons#2 it is I took quite a few similiar to this, basically a variationon a theme, all trying to get that channel to link the foreground to the sky and oeprate as a leading line for the scene.
lol, yeah that was worth almost getting nailed by that wave. I love that seaweed.
I agree something else would definitely add to the image, but am not sure waht, maybe a model to give it a sense of scale? yeah this was my special 10stopper, the one that is actually 5 or 6 stops polarizer and ND8 I am keen to go again, so if your down again and keen we should do it all again...on that note u should have seen teh sunrise this morning gerry's photography journey
