Hi Bob,
My only comment on both these (two Gecko photos) is that I would prefer a greater DOF.

Also They are both distinguished, in their name at least, by their tails, but we can't see them. I would be happier if this one was a golden eyed gecko I do like the way you placed the light over the "devil" iris

x2. for me the dof is perfect.
the stunning background makes the shot pop right out of the screen.

This shot would look at home in Nat Geographic any day.

Love that eye detail

I think the use of DOF in this image really focuses the viewer on that amazing eye, which I am sure just blinked at me while I was looking at it. Tack sharp too. I just love the detail.

I agree that the DOF is spot on, but then the fact that it is a golden tailed gecko and you can't see that leaves me wondering what the rest of it is. However it is still a great shot
