I find myself getting irritated looking at this image. I don't really know why; is it the lack of eye contact with the model? or is it not knowing what she's looking at? (only her hand?) is it wanting to see all of her dress? or is it wanting a square crop based on the diagonal of her left arm and hand?

I am not keen on the vignette. I would prefer a higher key look for this. Interesting pose though.

Thanks for the comments guys... Bob... I don't always like to always have eye contact going on hence the pose... what is she looking at? I'll that for you to decide! I like your thoughts on the square crop as that might be interesting to see.

Suren, this was actually fairly high key originally but I thought I'd see how the vignette treatment might look... I was probably a little heavy handed with it but then again the vignette look is certainly not to everyone's taste anyway.

This was one of those captures that has been sitting in the throw pile for a while but I like to go back occasionally and see whether anything can be made of them!

:rotfl2: I would hate to see you in sydney traffic then!

:agree:

My only other contribution would be, the title suggests dancing, it looks more like a pose, alittle movement would add to the image imo, however a moot point cause thats said in hindsight.

Also how about a tighter crop? with the belts as the main focus, basically a head and torso?
