Three panos of the wonderful Mandaley Beach in Western Australia - I am keen to hear thoughts on which one stands out and why.

Of your panos, #3. The main reason is that it seems complete. In #1, the sand trap (This is a golf course right  ) is chopped, and in #2, the clouds are chopped in half.

#4 you should have entered in "Red"

#3 by far as the composition is the strongest. I agree with Greg as to why.
Also they seem to have an artificial flavour to the sky. Are you tampering with HDR for this? Just the light seems too even. Maybe it's midday sun?

#4 is a corker! It would make a great canvas print. the light and colors are perfect. The green augments the reds/browns wonderfully.

I would like #2 with a bit more sky. As it is #3 for the same reasons as in previous posts. Very nice spot :agree:

Gerry, another great set...I actually really like #1, except for the cut off sand.

Love the leaf!

#2 with a tad more sky would be a winner in my book - nice :)

#3 seems to be the consesus, basically #3 is the same possie as #2 but taken in portrait to get a bit more in, however the ligth was changing by the minute there due to the clouds so its interesting to see the different ligth betwen the two.

I also prefer #3 for the composition but prefer #2 for the light...thanks for the insights guys.

yeah i bummed out on that one..

no HDR here, was basically mid afternnon from memory, there was a lot of low cloud cover just over us (out of sight) that has contributed to the soft light loook. Polariser filter also used.

Regards #4, prolly not enough red to qualify for red? I love it for the defined ribs in the leaf, really captured my attention

#2 and #3 for me, more so #3 as it feels more balanced. #2 is a bit too tight especially with the sky.
