Isolation in Darling Harbour

I took a short stroll in Darling Harbour during my weekend in Sydney and took a few photos of the locals enjoying a lazy public holiday afternoon in the sun. My main goal was to isolate a subject within the environment, which fortunately was fairly easy to achieve given it was a public holiday.

And this last one for good measure. Not really isolation but I just loved how the light fell exactly in the right spots.

The series didn't just focus on isolation, but had others thrown into the mix.

I agree with you about the light being in the right places in #4 - it's a pleasure to look at this image.

I think images #1 and #2 would suit the theme of Isolation a little better with the other people being cropped away; I think #1 is a lovely capture and I like the bw conversion in all four.
