one thing that always gets me Wendell.. what is your exposure and WB like? The subjects are perfectly exposed leaving a rich black background.. ahh.. the fascination loops again..  btw... I Friggin love image 2... that expression.. fwoar... POOF! IN YOUR FACE! haha

Although EXIFs are not available I will guess shutter to be between 1/100 -1/200 depending on how bright you want the fluoro. I assume the background is 3 stops darker and far far away from the models so doesn't affect exposure or have any light contamination from the tring light. yes it's called the TRING (Triangular Ring - patent pending - apparently I am going to get 0.05% of the sales for coming up with the sensational name)

Aperture probably 6.3 or something constant.

Unless Wendell has a dimmer on these bad boys.

suren you can be a reverse engineer

here is some insight i cant remember exactly what the eposure is but i always overexpose a liitle and then in photoshop darken the shadow tones so i get the skin smooth and sort of whitish

but one of the fundamental advantages of the TRING light is that the fluros have a high light fall off they dont have enough power to light the background only the subject so the backdrop in most cases is a near black

marcus i would guess im always shooting at f4 and 1/160th sec iso 2500 and a white balance of 4500 to 5000K

I like the V catch light on the close ups Wendell. However I also like the more rounded catch light you are now getting on the more distant models.
