Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Amanda H (very slightly NSFW)Had some time in the studio on Sat with Amanda... Up until now, she'd mostly done swimwear shoots, and was wanting to broaden her portfolio with fashion, lingerie and beauty shots... How did we do?
Cheers, John

Re: Amanda H (very slightly NSFW)The shadow that Ant refers to in #3, I find to be not a problem. However the shadow from the clothing on the LH side of #2 is a distraction.

Re: Amanda H (very slightly NSFW)John, I am struggling to find something to pick at on these, as already mentioned those shadows (only after being point out for me) are alittle distracting and could be PP'ed away. The position of the model in the first is interesting, I am not sure whether I like it or whether I would rather see her front row centre, it may grow on me!
The hair is the only other thing, the tassled look does not ring my bell, however if it is part of the desired look then its purely a preference thing for me. I like the face framing in teh last image, for some reason, I just like it and it works even tho my brain says 'put it in the middle'. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
