A couple of odd shots for the day...

I like the first, door shots are always classic, however I would have framed it with the bottom o fthe door in there.

pretty serious door there too, checkout the lock bolt! its probably still just a wooden door tho

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.

I would prefer the door to include more context.... Perhaps a wider view. Perhaps some human context... It will be a good image to be part of a series though.

A serious door indeed... and no not wooden... steel in all it's rusty glory !!!
The plan was in fact to have a model along and spend the day at location... but with lousy weather up to the shoot, and more promised, I thought I'd leave the model dry and clean and check out the location first. These were just a couple of shots of a number to consider for future opportunities.

I've added a recut of the door with the bottom uncropped... not sure why I cropped it out at the time but maybe that was a mistake? I think it might come up a treat with the right model to decorate it. Regardless I'm thinking to pull a series of door shots together and see if a worthwhile collection might develop.

Michael

The door is great - I like the texture in the image and the composition with the entire door is much better.

The entire door is much better. If you have a collection, perhaps do a collage with some sideways as well.

I like the door...
There is something misterious about doors...
I mean.. you never know what's behind a door.
Seriously, I like it.
