Whilst doing my sunrise shoot at the boulders I was unable to show the shape of the boulders due to the tide.
However there was one boulder by itself back up the beach a bit.
Comments welcome

I'm sot sure why, but I like this one. I find it quite engaging.
Some of the possible factors:
Great sky, the underexposed and blueish clouds are quite dramatic
The bit of pink sunset offset the stone nicely, they seem to balance each other well and I find the eye moving back and forth between them.
The detail in the rock is great.
So in all, an image that holds my attention and gives me plenty to look at.

What I like about this is the sense of motion imparted by the retreating tide. To me, the water gives the impression that it might have just (impossibly, but imaginably) washed the boulder on to the shore, and/or be drawing the boulder after it.
