Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Well after the other shots we've seen so far, I can't say I have much to write home about, but her it is!

SHB - needs straightening and warming up, although it does match the weather on the night :rotfl2:

Some good looking shots for the night! Sorry I missed you guys... I got to the OPT a little late and I'm guessing you'd all headed off wherever... Looks like you captured the Opera House a little later than me... but as it turned out I had an annoying camera malfunction on the night so apart from a nice walk to see some pretty lights the excursion was a bust for me.
Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?

Thanks Gerry. I liked the cooler colours at home (it's just set to tungsten WB) but on this monitor it looks way too blue... though this isn't calibrated and home is. I will revist on the good screen and see if it needs to move a tad back towards the warm end.

Same right back at you. Most impressed you made it out on the pushy!

We wound up right up the top of the parapet at the end to start with so maybe we were up there when you arrived, shame we missed you! Also a bummer about the malfunction, hope it was only temporary. With any luck we'll catch you at the next meet.

Cheers.
