Lake Matheson Reflections

At the suggestion of AFN members we drove up to Fox Glacier for the purpose of shooting Lake Matheson. We arrived late afternoon and checked out the location so we could go directly where we needed to next morning at sunrise.
We were there about a half hour before Sunrise and we captured the Mt Cook reflections from three or four different locations.
Fortunately the water was perfectly still, apart from some ducks moving about here and there, and the sky was clear of the heavy clouds which were there the afternoon before.
It was a 90 minute walk right around the Lake and this pic was one of the latter vantage points, so taken a little after sunrise.
On return to the entry to the walking track the cafe was open for breakfast and the young guy serving asked how it was. He pointed to a very large poster behind him on the wall and said he hadn't seen it like that in the 7 months he'd been there.
I don't know if he believed me when I said it was at least as good maybe even better.
I think we were quite lucky on a few occaisions during our brief visit to NZ.
Anyway Comments please:
