I can't believe this guys' tornado pics. It looks like something from underwater these cloud formations. Please check them out and let me know what you think. I'm humbled and blown away by what nature can produce in its most turbulent.

Dave - I really admire this guys pics. I have just watched a program on Hallmark called Category 6: Day of Destruction where Randy Quaid is a tornado chaser so your post was very apt. :D

Beautiful, beautiful images here!

It's an interesting way to spell Tornado...(tonado??). There is actually only one visible tornado in the pics, and that is the third one down on the left hand side! The other pics are mainly the base structure of the clouds on what could be supercells (storms most likely to produce tornados). They are absolutely brilliant all the same, and I love looking at stuff like this - especially from America (Are these from America??), as they have the BEST cloud structure. I would LOVE to see stuff like this and of course photograph it, but highly unlikely to see anything as crisp and well structured here in Australia

Thanks for posting, Dooda. Mother Nature can be breath taking at times! (Now I'm going back for another look!)

I actually scrolled through his other pics...and...they aren't quite as good. I was hoping for some more of this. Generally with pictures like this there is some background captions of something. This fellow left no information. Still they are probably some of the most impressive cloud pics I've ever seen.

The fellow in that pic is trying to decide whether the approaching monster of a tornado is enough of a bother to stop gardening for a few moments. I strongly recommend putting away the tools and waiting this one out buddy.
