Hey Jim. Congrats on surviving your first wedding.

#1 is awesome, love the high key look. I would be inclined to crop some from the right, and extend the left to decentralize a bit.

#2 is a great composition and pose, nicely lit too. The processing seems to have done something odd to the bokeh though.

#3 I think the noise is overdone a bit, otherwise very nice.

HI Thanks for the feed back Kevin the processing is with the Nic Software and the #2 was using Dynamic Skin Softener.
It looks weird on my non calibrated monitor but printed well?? So I could brush on the effect or erase/mask the layer where its not needed.The Hi Key look was from the siver ex software within Nic and I think with a bit of a fine tune this will give great results.ALso the backrpond wall to #1 was purple so it was a good fix to go B&W

The first one is very nice, she has great form and a great smile to boot and you have shown both off nicely! My only suggestion on that one is a slightly tighter crop, all that space is not adding much for me.

All the images seem to be oversharpened? is that just me? I am not soo keen on the over grainy style on the 3rd image and the vignetting is a bit much for me, I would back that off about 75%

All images have decent compositions and thats the key, the rest is elementary.

I have no idea about weddings so I could just be talking out my ass.

Lovely portrait of the bride, very relaxed. I would lighten up her face since its facing away from the light source. Also just watch how you process these as banding is quite evident here.

Lovely portrait of the couple. I would have asked the groom to tilt his head the other way as it looks like the bride is leaning to heavily on his head and asked him to hold her hips with his free hand. I would also correct the white balance as its a bit cool making the dress look blue.

IMAGE 3:
Least of my fave. Only because of the processing done, it looks very antiquated. I'm sure this would have looked good without the white vignetting.

Good job overall considering its your first wedding. NO EASY FEAT

Did you use fill flash in the first image? The eyes seem dark, as if you've pulled them out of the shadows. The whites of the eyes have no sparkle and I think the eyes are a very important area in any portrait. The images are well composed and you have posed the couple well. Just a little refinement in lighting will improve the images and take them to the next level.
