Rather than blasting everyone with multiple sets of images from Vivid Sydney I decided to post one set that sums up my favourites from the festival. I think that everyone would agree that this year it was not as good as last, but I can look back and think that this year I tried more things with my photos.

A shot I could not have gotten last year, Vivid has shown me how versatile a fisheye lens can be!

i think this year looked better thanlast year unless if your comparing what they did to the opera house

i like the ange of the first
and the experimentation on the opera house shot and the character of the last one

While I love the viewpoint of the first, I really like the creative stuff in the #3. Great technique!! You must have steady hands to get this right!

Some wonderful images here. I've personally never been to one so I can't compare. My fave is the last one. It has an eerie tim burton look to it

Great captures, but of course here is my critique.

#1 : In my opinion... yes I stated opinion rather than pure critique.. I could only dream for those bars to extend out further towards the right of the frame.. to me it feels empty there.. like I stated, opinion rather than critique, but maybe an alternative crop would have been better.

#3 Great shot, exposure balanced perfectly for you here, the only critique i have is that it needs a touch of straightening, not that I'm the best straight shooter.. if i was, I'd be a hypocrite.. but great shot Cam =D

#4 : Great expressions you've captured here, you're becoming quite the portraitist, but it helps to have people who know what to do with their faces and reactions. Nothing to really pick up on this one, so great shot dude!
