Bit more vividMissed the organised meet but made a special last week trip to catch the lights.
As has been suggested, I thought Opera house projections wernt quite as "vivid" this year but thought the Macquarie St presentation was quite effective. Here are a few that I liked
Re: Bit more vividWow, some real crackers here. I love what you have done with the colours. Also shooting across the water feature at St Mary's was a real good call!

Re: Bit more vividNice Ray, a different perspective on all the shots, i really like the pano crop on the second, I think this same crop could be applied to all the others (excluding the St Marys one) with an equally good effect.
nice spotting on that one! gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Bit more vivid
Gerry. Thanks for the suggestion Do you think a pano crop might reduce the impact of the "projector trails" in #1.
Re: Bit more vivid
I think the rays and the house are competing to be the main subject, cropping, imo makes the house the primary subject and the rays complimentary feature. This is what I had in mind, basically losing a bit off teh top and bottom and more on the left where there is plenty of dead space. gerry's photography journey
