Golden hour + rain = great light

That magic golden hour light before sunset always gives great warm tones to an image, but throw in some cleansing rain and the filtering effect of the clouds and it's even better.

Love #2 Stubbsy, spectacular light.

It brings back some memories for me. In the late 1960s my mum would take me and my younger brother up to the observation deck of the AMP building for a treat, now and again. Then it was Sydney's tallest building, at least from memory.

Tallest in the southern hemisphere, actually.

And that's where I was working, from 1969 on, for about 17 years, in various places and on various floors. If you look closely, you can even see my old desk.

Well, maybe not.

Peter, #2 is a great image of this building. The warm sunset tones really do help this building to look good.

Is it just me or is #3 a bit soft?

#2
The tones , gradation, combination of warm and cool. It's got them all. Only you could make this building shot interesting!
