My Niece & NephewToday i tried something different and took a few shots of my sisters daughter and her new born son.
I'm pretty much a fish out of water when it comes to photographing kids, so any C&C is greatly appreciated. One thing i've noticed myself is that i need to make sure i've got enough DOF and both eyes are in focus.
Re: My Niece & NephewThe second picture is very cute. I find the posing in the third and fourth a bit awkward but you have good eye contact in the last.

Re: My Niece & NephewFirstly congrats on getting him with the eyes open!!
Nice use of soft light and I really like the end results. Standouts are #2 and #4. I love how the baby has been awkwardly propped against his sister!! I would like to see a high key version of the #4 (sort of like #3)
