Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

And finally some different shots from London. Lunchtime in the city Some wildlife in St. James's Park. More than a few umbrellas Disrespecting royalty, in front of St. Paul's Cathedral I've got shots of the changing of the guards, Big Ben, the London Eye, etc. But everyone has seen those before. Thanks. aim54x wrote:#3 The umbrellas are great...where were you for that shot?
I was wandering through the back streets and came across: Apparently it's outside Channel 4. It was certainly a surprise! I'm guessing it's a temporary art installation, but it was very impressive. Daniel

Great images, each with its own message. The glory and vanity of rulers now serving as a toilet for pigeons. The grace and simple needs of a squarrel in a park. A reminder that you are slowing down and need to catch up with your pints. The ever presence of the English weather. All good captures!

Thank you. You have given these more thought than I believe I did when taking them. I think you might appreciate this one as well. Daniel

Indeed! It is quite a humorous photograph. “Go forth and construct” and quite clever to include the offending distraction as part of the picture.

Love the pub shot for it's mood and light. Disrespecting royalty is a hilarious shot! Great to eye to capture these things I would missed for sure.
