Dont call me a bum photographer ;)
Posted: Tue Mar 22, 2005 8:15 pmOk, so theres a fairly prominent bum in both these pics, taken with the 105, but its not every day you spot a Koala in a tree beside the road. This one was about 20km west of Gunnedah this afternoon. I couldnt get as good a view as I wanted from the ground with the 180mm, so I put the 105 onto the D70, shoved it into my back pocket and climbed a bit up the tree, much to the amusement of passing motorists who probably didnt notice the Koala, just the strange man in the tree!
Both images are 1/500 @ f/9 with built in flash, which worked well, given the difficult lighting- very bright white clouds behind the subject.
