A dead thingy or maybe even a albino thingy

But in reality I guess it’s the cocoon of something long gone :D

The promo for a new movie from 20th Centry fox called "The invisable Mammoth"

or a cocoon of an insect which I obviously don't know readily.

Mudeyes, I think you'll find they're called.
FYI, Mudeyes are the larval stages of the dragonfly. Think they're found swimming around in rivers/lakes. When they hatch they crawl up reeds and break out of their larval shell.

They make excellent bait for trout fishing :)
Were you near a river? I bet the fish were going beserk if you were.

Hi

I was at Albert Park Lake.

No dragonfly - only damselfies, ducks, swans and seagulls... oh ... and people of course.

regards,

Arthur
