That zoo looks awesome for taking images, this is a great clear shot at a really nice low down perspective! - the only thing in my mind to improve it would be locked in eye contact!

What I would suggest, especially if you have Photoshop CS5 which makes creating fine masks quite easy, would be to darken the whole background (not too much) and perhaps desaturate the background a tad.
