Gloomy Thursday

Thursday was not kind weather wise but often this means wildlife shots are easier because you do not get harsh shadows, so a visit to Cleland Wildlife Park and here are some results..

That last duck is adorable! hahaha peking duck anyone? :lol: joking..

Love your choice of subjects! took me a second to realise what else was in the first one besides ONE bird.. haha great capture!

Yes there were actually young under those feathers but for the life of me I could not get a shot with all of them visible at the one time. The wallaby is now my new desktop!

You did really well considering the gloomy conditions. The duckling looks incredibly squishy :rotfl2:

Love the duckling....makes me want a longer lens.....300mm or 400mm...maybe I should price one of those AF-D 300mm f/4s at work.....no not allowed to buy!

Unfortunately I dont have the money at the moment...maybe I will try to borrow one.....
