Hey Bob,
I wonder, would you still like this image if the boat shed wasn't in the shot? How much does it add overall?

Mate - I really don't even think along those lines.
I simply look for the most interesting available composition in the area I am shooting at the time.
To do what your suggesting I'd have to clone it/them out and that is something I rarely do.

I wasn't suggesting cloning it out. I wonder whether it adds or subtracts from this image. I am tending towards subtractions but wasn't quite sure.

It certainly appeals to me , great colours, interesting to look around, great use of tree for framing etc ...must be a big tidal difference looking at the depth of the bank
I'm just jealous 'this is just across the road' wish I had that view
