iPhone 4 photo quality

I upgraded my Optus contract a few weeks and as of last week I now have a nice shiny new iPhone 4, which is very impressive at this stage. I took a few photos (and videos) earlier this week as we travelled back to the north coast from South Australia. (These images are hosted on photobucket which seems to soften them way too much. Maybe I should use a different facility?)

The iPhone 4 seems quite adequate as an in-pocket, take-everywhere snap shooter with decent image quality.

Today's firmware update also adds 'HDR like' capability.

I am finding it's quite good as well.

Have you printed any Ozi? BTW I hope you took some more compositions of the first scene. It looks very picturesque! The blues and yellows complement each other well.

No to both questions Suren, was driving past a paddock somewhere south/north of Parkes and just took a few snaps. As for the prints, not yet but it's a good idea. I will get some done eventually.

Of course the iPhone will never compete with or replace a Mkii, but for something that it is always with me, it's not too bad. Regards.

Ozi, thanks for that.
I might get a print or two done this weekend just for kicks. Will report back.
Also the video, which I haven't used yet, looks interesting....
